Description:

Facing the south, the hillside of the Trittenheimer Apotheke on the winding Mosel River receives the best of what the Mosel terroir can offer. As a Riesling Spätlese, the grapes were harvested at a later time allowing them to develop more natural sugars. However, unlike most other Spätlese, this one was built out dry, making it an extraordinary full-bodied food pairing wine. The nose is full of orange blossom, grapefruit and crisp green apple. With ideal acidity, and outstanding mineral composition, this wine packs a powerful punch, lingers wonderfully on the palate, and can be enjoyed with an array of cuisine, but is perfect with any bigger seafood dishes. Stefan Blees has done it again!
