Description:
Estancia Meritage (rhymes with heritage) is a sophisticated, rich, complex and luscious wine harvested from the distinctive terroir of the Paso Robles wine country. Consisting of 61% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Merlot, and 9% Petit Verdot, the 2004 Estancia Meritage has aromas of bright black cherries with soft notes of licorice, rosemary and sage are accented by subtle touches of mocha and soft oak. It is rich and bold with intense flavors of chocolate dipped black fruit, accompanied by notes of sweet oak. Wonderfully structured ripe tannins lead to a nice long, fruit driven finish providing deep concentrated flavors.
Meritage rhymes with heritage and refers to U.S. domestic wines that are blended in a style like the Bordeaux style wines of France.
