I had an enjoyable time last night at the California State Fair, which started at the wine garden, tasting some wine with 8 others I met up with. During the Chicago concert, a member in our group Greg pulled out some cigars and it was not just the men that sampled them either. All the women took pleasure in taking a few puffs followed by a few sips of red wine. I am new to cigars this year. Greg is very knowledgeable about cigars and explained the different types. After the concert most of us returned to the wine garden to select a bottle to pare with the cigars. We were very taken with the Sarah's Vineyards 2004 Zinfandel which was a 2007 California State Fair Double Gold Award winner. I thought it was smooth with blackberry and very light pepper flavoring which went very nicely with the mild cigar I was sampling. It was very enjoyable in the cooling evening on the grass with some fun people. We all seemed to have a great time.
So what are your thoughts on women and cigars? It does appear to be getting more popular. There seems to be some erotic facination that men have about seeing a woman with a cigar. I think it is pretty funny and can be fun to encourage those that we get the looks from.
So women, the next time your man takes out a cigar on the patio, bring out a couple glasses of zin and ask to join him.
