RSVP for Wine Lovers Christmas - VinVillage Sacramento

Description:   Show your Christmas spirit by bringing your favorite wine for a White Elephant wine exchange. If you've any doubts or are a novice feel free to join the Sacramento chapter of Vin Village for some great recommendations from the Sommelier who will gladly help you pick a nice rounded wine that should please most. Also look at the polls and Message Boards to get an idea what others generally think. Post your own question and I know the spirit of this group will gladly help! A good price point as a standard for this event might be best at $15 or better.

So that wine is for you to take home or open it at your discretion, but what about our party? Not to worry! To go with the Turkey we will prepare we're asking that you bring your favorite accompaniment such as stuffing, salad, bread, veggie dish, dessert, etc. The kitchen is available if needed. Wine will be paired with the Turkey dinner as a flight of 6 (2-whites & 4-reds) plus maybe a surprise from the depths of my cellar;-) The total cost for this soirée will only be $12.50 to cover expenses and we are using PayPal.

Where will this Christmas party reside? Our gracious host is Erin and we will enjoy her brand new home up in Plumas Lake south of Marysville just off Hwy 70 near the Sleep Train Amphitheater. It's a straight & easy shot north as we've been there before and she drives it every day. Final directions will be given to all "Yes" RSVP's by December 21st. All RSVP's must be accounted for by the 19th so we know what size Turkey to purchase and we can defrost it by the day of this event. Erin says to feel free to bring your sleeping bags and stay the night if you get a little too tipsy, she's got brand new plush carpeting and several rooms. Sorry, but Carolyn & I get the sofa bed;-)
